A blend of the finest Assam, Ceylon, and African teas. This blend uses a variety of leaf sizes that hold together well as a dry leaf but deliver their differing qualities in the cup. The smaller Assam and African teas help give strength and brightness whilst the larger leafed Assam and Ceylon transfer a robust and flavourful note. The liquor is dark and rich, with a full strong and malty character.

Perfect brew

Enjoying the Golden breakfast tea as an afternoon cuppa when I want to take time out of the day. It brews perfectly using the directions on the packet. Appreciate the eco- credentials of this company. Would like more of your black tea range to be available for retail buyers, please.

Excellent flavour!

The Golden Breakfast tea is a full-bodied, malty tea with an enjoyable taste of black tea leaves. I had this tea in Cafe Murano, Angela Hartnett's cafe up in London. I was blown away by its flavour and was surprised that I had not come across it before. A well-kept secret! I came home and looked it up on Google. Made the purchase there and then. If you are a tea-drinker like me, I'd recommend it!!

Great value, taste & price

I've been buying from Groombridge Farm Shop & have enjoyed. A subscription is better environmentally and price, it also means I always have some. The free samples were good too. I like the Earl Grey.
