A blend of the finest Assam, Ceylon, and African teas. This blend uses a variety of leaf sizes that hold together well as a dry leaf but deliver their differing qualities in the cup. The smaller Assam and African teas help give strength and brightness whilst the larger leafed Assam and Ceylon transfer a robust and flavourful note. The liquor is dark and rich, with a full strong and malty character.

We had a packet of this tea in a hamper we had one and I bought more as we enjoyed it so much. It is delicious and well-rounded and reminds me of tea that we used to have years ago.

Lovely strong tea with no bitterness and a delicate grassy hint. I enjoy mine with full cream milk, but it would be perfect black too.
The bag is compostable ( no hidden plastic) , the packet and box are recyclable
